Maintenance Planner

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance schedules for production equipment
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and preventive maintenance tasks
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and identify areas for improvement
- Procure necessary parts, tools, and materials for maintenance activities
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery to identify potential issues before they escalate
- Collaborate with production managers to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
About You
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- NZQF Level 5 Electrical/Mechanical Fitter
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to industrial machinery
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
As a Crop Supply Agronomist, you will:
• Provide support in negotiating contracts with key grower suppliers.
• Develop and monitor planting plans and schedules to ensure the timely supply of raw materials.
• Offer agronomic support to growers, advising on crop management, weed, pest, and disease control.
• Ensure high-quality crops that meet purchase specifications and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager and other departments to achieve business objectives.
• Cultivate strong working relationships with growers, contractors, and industry partners.
• Analyse data and provide insights to inform business decisions.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to optimise crop yields and quality.
About You
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field.
• Minimum of 2yrs experience in the agriculture industry
• A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel.
• Proficiency with computers, particularly MS Office and diagnostic scientific software.
• Exceptional active listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong research, decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Awareness of industry trends, technology, and agricultural developments.

Quality & Food Technologist

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality & Food Technologist to work alongside our production team at our Timaru manufacturing facility. This laboratory-based role is ideal for recent graduates eager to launch their careers or experienced professionals ready to bring their expertise. You will have the opportunity to ensure the quality and safety of our food products, conduct tests and analysis, and implement quality control measures to meet industry standards.
Hours of Work:
Thursday and Friday: 9:30am to 6pm
Saturday and Sunday 6am to 6pm
Key Duties
- Conducting regular inspections and tests on raw materials, production processes, and finished products.
- Developing and implementing quality assurance procedures.
- Monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address quality issues.
- Training staff on proper food safety practices.
About You
- 1-2 years' experience in a laboratory within the Food Production Industry
- Strong knowledge of food science and technology / HACCP protocols
- Excellent analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of quality control procedures
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Have the right to work in New Zealand
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in food science or related field.
- Certification in HACCP or Food Safety would be advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Office suite.
